Let Utah Read is a coalition of Utahns, educators, parents, librarians, and organizations dedicated to preserving Americans’ freedom to read.

We believe that all people in America have the right to access a wide range of literature in school and public libraries and to engage with diverse ideas, free from censorship or discrimination.

  • We believe parents, not the government, should regulate and supervise their children’s reading.

  • We work to educate and activate our fellow citizens across Utah so that together, we can protect the right to read for ourselves, our children, and future generations.
